um jammer lammy
best thing ever to me. I don't own a ps1, let alone a copy of this game (because those prices are,, yeah.), so I played it on the built in ps1 emulator on my psp!
one thing though: for some reason, the european version of this game will not work well on the psp. the guitar sounds are missing, and it really just is not fun to play without them. don't worry though! the american and japanese versions will work just fine and as intended! I dunno why the european version specifically does this, but hey at least you can still play the other two versions!
I played the japanese version. the voices are in english still, you can put english subtitles on in the menu. even though some menus are in japanese, its extremely easy to go through as a non-japanese speaker. the reason I played the japanese version is because of some censorship in the american version. listen, I just really wanted to play the level where lammy goes to hell.
theres so many cool little details in the game. the main story mode is short (like every other parappa game) but still very enjoyable, the plot feels like a trip as many have said in the past and the music is great. I also like the other modes, like the one with rammy and the one with parappa. parappa's in-game voice lines sound like they were recorded underwater but that actually enhances the experience to me, for some reason. same with those weird audio cuts in the lammy and parappa multiplayer mode

developed : nanaon-sha, the arcade version was developed by namco. I haven't played the arcade version yet tho.
how long is it: its short ... maybe like an hour long? if you wanna play through all the modes maybe like three hours.
